This was my Pike from last season:

Not big as far as Pike can go, but very sizeable for a CT Northern. I'll be hitting the pond with my boy on Monday to kick off the season!

Last season honorable mentions:

Largemouth-

Smallmouth-

Chain Pickerel-

All caught on a 1/2 oz. T1 Terminator, chartruese/white

I fish fairly often. Mostly for trout and catfish when in freshwater, but I do fish for salmon, steelhead, and occasionally in lakes for bass/etc.

I've been fishing in saltwater a lot more lately, for ling cod, sea bass, perch, greenling, and other bottomfish. I caught 6 last time I was out a couple of weeks ago.

Biggest fish I've caught was a 35 pound king salmon. Biggest fish I've hooked and lost was a large (5' +/-) sturgeon. My gear was way too light, I had no chance.

Biggest fish I caught was a 13lb carp. Biggest I had on the line was a 6ft pike I was fighting with for about 5mins then thew line snapped.
I need to start fishing again.

Biggest i've gotten was a 27 pound carp, but I try not to count it as carp is just crap spelled differently, lol. Seriously............they're just nasty, nasty fish!

Meh, we dont eat them around here so the bigger the better. i remember going a day early when fishing for carp and trowing in corn into the area I was going to be fishing so they would go there overnight and be there for me in the morning.

The air was cold yesterday, but it's been warm enough the past few weeks to get the water temp up to spawning standards. We've got 2 5 pounders in the boat in the last 3 weeks.
