I have a CD recording that I made off of an LP a few years ago that I would like to clean up. The problem is it is only two files, one for side 1 and one for side 2. The recording is of my great grandfathers album that was released in the 70's so there is no chance I can find it on CD anywhere. Is there anything free that I can use to clean this up and split it into individual songs?

you mean a recording on your computer? you can always manually split it on a video editor or wmv editor that comes with every computer. then take the .wav files and find a free .wav to .mp3 converter.

if you have a CD you can always rip songs on a mac.
