yes another one of those pyramid referral things like the ipod ones ...
but this one is totally free, you sign up through one of the offers on your credit card and then just call the company and cancel it 5 minutes later, that's what I did. lol, the idiot on the phone kept trying to talk me into keeping AOL and kept asking why I cancelled so soon it was sort of funny.
Anyway, if you do what I did NOTHING gets charged on your card.

So, the first 18 people to read this sign up under ME by clicking this link: http://www.notebooks4free.com/default.aspx?r=465736

Then, you post your link here and the next 18 sign up under you, and so on and so forth.

LOTS of stuff to choose from, and you only have to get 18 referrals .. not bad.

and oh well if it doesn't work you're not out anything as long as you call and cancel! worth a shot, between people on this forum and people you know in real life (hell, you could ask your parents for their CC# and cancel the offer for them to get some referrals .. heh) 18 shouldn't be hard

Yeah, good luck with this. How many people got an iPod? Maybe one?

Besides, it's not good, it's morally incorrect.
I like you zoned, but come on, this is not what we do here, and it's certainly not what we should anywhere.

Beleive me, I live in a country where for ages "all the people" (read that as the vast majority) has been wise folks, and how's our reality right now?
-Stores don't accept returns (they don't give you your money back nor exchange the clothes)
-Whenever you hand out a bill (money) the cashier looks at it as if you were the king of forged bills
-theres mistrust everywhere

You folks in the US, with all the ups and all the downs you might think of, have a great country, you know why?
It's not because of luck, it's not because you just "deserve it"; it's because your ancesters built it that way stone by stone, they were honest enough to gain trust in each other, and they were naive enough to offer these kind of stuff. So don't blow it away, it's not worth it.

^^wtf.gif^^

?
It is too morally correct, the company is still making assloads of cash because of advertising. Every free sign up that AOL gets they pay that damn company a commission, and that's how the company affords to hand out this stuff.
I don't see why you guys are making such a big deal out of this. Nobody was forcing you to do anything, I simply thought it looked like a good idea to make a quick 1000 dollars. No harm has been done to anyone.

Maybe you think 18 people is outrageous, I don't, and obviously the company sponsoring it doesn't think so either.

Thanks.
Once again bringing up the iPod one ... yes, so maybe the iPod one wasn't so successful, but that's because there wasn't many TRUSTED companies involved, it became a hassle to do the free trial ones, so many people opted out and the thread basically died. Not the case with my link.

I can see already that this is just going to turn into an off-topic debate, and obviously there's no interest in the actual program, so maybe a mod should just close this.

I didn't mean any offense man 02.gif

I was just saying...the ipod deal was 3x easier, and very few people actually got enough people to do it.

The whole idea isn't so bad, but 18 people I think is just too much. We'd be better off having a monthly raffle or something - everyone enters $1, and at the end, a winner gets it all.

That could be an easy $100 in prizes each month to somebody (well, $99 considering you can only win if you play lol)

im locking this dude. if people happen to see this and you get your 1050, so be it, but i do not believe anyone else past you would be able to get this.

just like the damn ipod thing. the starters of that new nobody else would get anything, and yet they said YOU WILL get a free ipod to lure people into participating for their sake. i know your being upfront about the likely chance people after you wont get anything, but these things are still garbage.

this goes for all future pyramid referral schemes as well, dont post them.
