while I will admit that what he did to that spoiler is useless.. a rear spoiler on a front wheel drive car is NOT useless. Car's naturally get light in the rear the faster they go...
HAHA, no way a shark spoiler creates downforce on the rear. Our cars are not fast, by any means. We need to worry more about aerodynamic factors (have you found YOUR aerodynamic top speed, I have ... it sucks) instead of downforce. And either way, a shark spoiler is designed for looks (aka USELESS) not downforce.
You'd be better off leaving the car wingless and just leaving your spare tire in while racing. wink1.gif
Besides, it's FUN to get your backend loose on the track. nana.gif

I think he told the powdercoater to make them bronze, but he used the wrong color. lmao.gif
That spoiler is hideous.

I would be safe in saying that a tib with the stock (maybe not the shark) spoiler would probably have a higher top end (if it was not limited) than one without a spoiler

"Normal" stock spoilers are there for looks, but also for fuel economy. On many cars they make a substantial difference in mpg at highway speeds. There's a lot of information about this online.
One of these days when I'm on a road trip I'll run a full tank with my spoiler on, and another with it off all at the same speed. I really want to know how it affects Tibs.
