My wife and i went to Formula D on Saturday. It was a blast! I would have arranged things a little differently if I was organizing it (could have run local amateur drifters, autocross, sprints, anything in the 3 hour intermission vs. NOTHING) but overall it was a great time. It rained it's ass off for the second half of the races for the first time in Formula D history. The one thing I learned was that you never want to drive an RX-7 in the rain. I think they all spun out. There were lots of spins but if you saw an RX-7 you were almost guaranteed that it would spin.
