Or the Merkur XR4TI?

Omni GLHS also comes to mind. I wouldn't say any of those cars were overlooked, some of them are hard to find because they had limited numbers.
The pic of the XR4Ti is actually a sierra. This is what everyone here tries to get them to look like.

dang what happened to cars these days. i've never seen any of those except the Merkur and the banit lol, but I like almost all of them.

 

Cars these days are faster than cars those days by far.

 

no i meant that they had character and it seems like the special editions were legendary. i rarely see something on the road that just makes my jaw drop. nothing really unique and awesome out there.
