Ford Thunderbird
Just saw a pic of this NEW ride. Pretty SWEET!! I think it was like 252HP and it's a convertable....RWD..around 32,500-35,000 if I remember correctly..Looks like a smootheeeee ride.
"To find the right speed for travel, one must draw from the heart. What follows is a steady stream of movement beginning with the spirit and ending with the gas pedal, charging the powerful V8 engine of Ford Thunderbird. The 3.9L, 32-valve V-8 engine produces 252 horsepower and 261 lb.-ft. of torque."

Yeah, a co-worker at my office has a relative (sister in-law) that works for Ford Canada. She brought around one of those new T-birds to look at "up close and personal." I got a ride in it. smile.gif She says that it's hard to keep it down to the speed limits on the highway. You kinda glance at the speedometer and realise that those numbers are *miles* per hour, and not km/h (It's a US spec demo model she had.)
Ford was bringing it around for the classic T-bird clubs to look at, and to go on a club drive. Nice car, all-round. I wouldn't buy one, but then I want more than 2 seats...

Well, I like the retro styling. I also like the Plymouth Prowlers (But don't much care for the PT Cruisers.)
Those round porthole windows are similar to the old 1950's T-birds.
As for performance, I don't think they're that fast in stock trim. Put some forced induction on that V8, and then we're talking.
