i can see the intelluctual property rights but the fact of the matter is that once you sell that product you dont own it anymore. everything about it becomes the owners who can do with it as they will. if that was the case then you couldnt take pictures with clothes on ebcause ecko, A&F, Timberland all own those intelluctual property rights but yet once you pay for it, it becomes your property to do with as you like.

ownership is still 9/10ths of law it allways has been and probably allways will be. the guy who designed your t-shirt isnt sueing you because you got a picture taken while wearing their shirt; even if you decide later to sell the picture or not

^^ That's the bottom line. It's your stuff, not theirs. If you signed a contract saying that you cannot reproduce pictures of your vehicle, then that's on you. There was no such contract when I bought my car. Next year there WILL be a calendar with our Tiburons in it regardless of what anyone says.

Thats some communist shit right there. If the shirt made it out that far than it made it out. You buy a cocacola, than youvr paid for it and its yours. What if you take a picture of a street and 7-11 happens to be in it except the 1 is missing, then they can sue you? If i took a picture of a metrobus and sold it id get sued? A bank of america in tokyo and id get sued? If youve modified your own car like you modify your own damn house and sell them by advertising, sue everyone? thats horseplay.

I hope hyundai doesny stoop this low and take after all those homoriffic companies. Its just silly, like their cars.

Thats insane and totally unreasonable.

Way to stick it to your (diminishing) loyal fans, and doing it in this manner will make at least a few prospective buyers steer away from a company that doesn't appreciate its own customers.

Ford should pay THEM for the flattering advertising when the BMC sells their calenders.
