So since being in the desert limits your free time to either sleeping, eating, re-enacting various scenes from the movie Jarhead or training towards some fitness goals I chose fitness training. Anyways I'm wondering what everyone on here that works on a regular if not daily basis for supplements goes. I sware I'm taking more pills than a 75 year old male with scirosis of the liver, high bloodpressure and high cholesterol... lol Anyways, besides your basic vitamins and whey protein I started out stacking MRI's NO2 Black and CE2 creatine to boost performance but it seems like I've hit a plateau of some sorts. So I went online and ordered MHP's A-Bomb and T-Bomb to try to hit some better gains. I'm starting on this stack today and when it runs out I'm going to cycle MHP's Sarm-X. Has anyone used any of these and who else uses supplements and what kind?

I take the "mega men sport vitamin paks", There great, "hydroxycut hardcore" works AMAZING for me.. and i take "endothil-CR" that stuff is miracile pill...if you workout the way it tells you too...WOW my musule mass and strength have more then doubled in a 2 month period....and i take myoplex protien shakes....(hint: for better taste use milk instead of water- it says use skim, HELL NO, but i use 2%) but if you dont eat healthy to begin with non of that really matters! I'm training for a tri-athalon so i do a lot of running, and use mainly free-weights for muscule building.

One thing with all the supplemenst except the protein and multi vitamins you are taking. You need to do cycles with them. a good cycle would be 8 weeks on 4 off so on and so forth. That will help with the hard stops/plateau you are seeing. on the last 2 weeks of the 8 week cycle make sure you start to take less and less of the supplement. The same goes for when you start back on to it work gradually into taking the supplement for the first two weeks.

If you see more than a 2-3 pound gain in mass in one week it is more than likely your body will lose that at some point. You can gain more than that in a week and keep it, but that is only if after you get back you dont drop the gym habit. As I was saying though if you want to keep it and not stay so hardcore about the gym when you get back no more than 3 pounds a week is a good gain.

I did the whole suppliment thing in tech school and gained almost 30 pounds in 3 months but lost most of it due to the fact i didnt cycle all the crap i was taking crap. I was taking Animal Stack, Celll tech, Mass tech, Multi vitamins, and Some herbel crap with terebullus terestus (hope that is spelled correctly) to boost testosterone. Now i am back in the gym and up 13 pounds all I am really taking this time is Whey protein and cycleing Creatine most of my other nutrients are coming from the food I eat. I am trying to stay away from most of the supplements cause I dont want to lose it this time.

^^^^ Creatine!!!!! not good, once you stop taking it you lose a lot of what you gained, (moslty water weight muscules) and its been shown to have bad long term effects, my brothers were in the marines and navy, and they were taking a concentrated dose of Creatine and they felt good stuff was working, govt said to stop taking it because it has bad long term effect adn switched them on some other stuff...dont remember what it was, they are out of the military 2 years now

M-Stak. Used that shit and damn it worked well lol. People told me a was tempered when I was on it, but IMO it was worth it. Hell I was 150 benching 225 at age 15 pretty good no? Eventually I stopped cause it started getting quite expensive. But if your going with a stack use that.

Creatine and protein are the only supplements I will use. I don't believe in taking anything that's not natural. And creatine is not harmful. If you don't believe me, do some research. It is a natural substance found in the body and also in many foods. If you don't want to take creatine, you could eat a lot of fish/chicken. Much like if you don't want to take protein you could eat a lot of meat. It's just easier to take the supplement, and cheaper. Unless you can afford a steak or fish dinner after working out every day.

If you hit a plateau the answer is not to take pills, you should change your workout routine.

You dont lose what you put on with creatine if you cycle properly and dont do a loading phase. yes it is alot of water weight, that is what the creatine is supposed to do for you keep the fluid in your muscle to help get rid of lactic acid as rapidly as possible so as to speed recovery time between workouts. thus you can work out harder more often and increase the rate of muscle production.

1997tibby notice you said concetrated dose, generally that means alot. that is where the problem is, too much of any supplement will not be good for you. Sh1t even to much water is bad for you.

I do agree with you zoned as far as supplements shouldn't be the answer to your stopping point. Change your routine try differnt exercises for each muscle group. Vary what muscle group you work first. Try doing supersets of opposing muscle groups.

I take several whey shakes a day, and use it when making pancakes, oatmeal, etc. And a few different meal replacements. That's it other than some multivitamins. I never had good luck with creatine, other than feeling bloated all the time.

Protein shakes are absorbed much faster than solid foods. Much better choice post-workout than a real meal with chicken or fish plus whatever carbs IMO.

Take into consideration that your body can only process so much protein a day.

i used to take 17 hd, cell tech and nitro tech that is a wonderful stack(for me everyones body is different) i'm no longer in the gym now but the gains i had stayed the same, between you and i, don't use any of that shit, pro testosterone boosters and alot of that other crap will make you stronger but you destroy brain cells and with too much testosterone it throws off the electolyte balance in your heart which can lead too heart failure. on 17 i was plenty strong but eventually the muscles around my heart began to hurt and i would have difficulty breathing and dizziness; but it's your body, and one of my best friends is suffering from panic attacks from all that shit he was on
