First Coin
i got told to be down at cp at 1200pm. im thinking im in trouble, turned out to be a cermony, i ended up getting my first coin while in the army, its the 10th mountian division srg maj coin i think its neat im pretty happy, god knows how many of you have lots of them

I've got 10... my favorites are MTV and Anheuser-Busch which are not military related at all. The most important military one I've got is the Big Red One coin. It was given to me when I was in the unit for keepign our radar to the highest military standards.

^^ yeah, especially when you deploy. I went my first couple of years without a coin, and then all-of-the-sudden.... BAM!!! Coins galore
I'm going to list my coins here and what they're for, so I can remember because it's tough after a while... You all should do the same.
MTV For The Troops- 2001 MTV USO show @ frankfurt. I was the only person in Class A uniform
Anheuser-Busch coin w/serial number 126196 of 350,000-given to all troops in Iraq
Hamilton's Own 1/5FA battalon CSM's coin w/ serial number 142- For deploying to iraq with the unit
1st BDE 1st INF Div re-enlistment coin- reenlistment
18th airborne CSM's coin - For manning and keeping their radar to optimal operational rediness when they didn't have personell to do so.
1st INF DIV coin- For keeping the highest operational rediness rate of all radars deployed.
1/5FA hamilton's own commander's coin- for deploying to iraq with the unit.
187th Medical Battalion- durring training, I ate breakfast at a CSM's function.. I showed up late and he gave me a coin! :LOL"
Moncrief Army Community Hospital- For volounteering to do headcount at a formal ball after I got there
Department of the army coin- I can't remember where i got this.

ya i got screwed and sent to 10th Mountian. lol i appreciate all branches, im trying to talk my buddy out of his second 10th Mountian commanding general coin so i can use it at bar for free drinks considering not many beat that one
