So we get one side of the story, and a carefully-edited 20 minutes of an alleged 93 minute recording. I skipped forward thru it with the sound down, but their intent came through pretty clearly. You know what we didn't get? The other side of the story. What's the history of the person they were coming to arrest? Were they expecting someone to be armed and dangerous and hi on meth? Maybe they come to this house all the time, we don't know.

I'm not defending the cops here, just mentioning that there's 2 sides to every story and that's probably as slanted to one side as it can be made, and the other side (the cops) probably can't be presented because there had BETTER be an ongoing investigation. And there better be an investigation because that looks pretty bad. This is what is known as "tainting the jury pool".

I've only watched 20 seconds of the video and I'll go ahead and defend the cops. As a citizen of a civilized community you are required to follow LAWFUL orders by law enforcement. It is perfectly lawful for an officer with a warrant to knock on your door and expect you to answer it... yes, even at 1:30am. If you refuse to answer the door, you are disobeying a lawful order by a police officer and pretty much deserve to get you door busted in, since that is what the warrant says the officer can do. If he's at the wrong house, you still have to answer the door and explain that to the officer. You can't simply ignore them or yell things through the door which the officer may not hear.

Rule #1 for life... don't be a dumbass.

Watched some more... Why do you tell the cops, "I'm opening the door" for 3 minutes and not open the door? See rule #1.
