Alot of people sell their cars to private individuals versus trading them into a dealer. Those of you who have sold your modified cars in the past, have you checked up on them to see if they are still in one piece, or seen them driving around in your city still in good condition?



I saw my old MK2 Supra the other day that was in mint condition when I sold it and it looked horrible. I sold it a kid in high school and I asked him to promise me he would take care of it once I signed the title over to him. I had a bad feeling about it when I sold it and it was right. When I saw it the other day, it was trashed beyond what it once was and the kid I sold it to still owned it. If that car could talk, it would probably be crying now and asking why it was turned over to an inconsiderate owner.

 

I know people who haved sold their Hyundai to another forum member have checked back in on it.



I sold mine, and the owner has my information. He sent me one email and I begged him to join the forums so we could work with him if anything ever went wrong. I never heard another word from him. It's some guy in the military. I wish I could hold his hand through everything he touches on the car just to make sure it doesn't end up in a junk yard.
