European Elections
France, Italy, Greece.....
All three moving radically to the left and radically anti-austerity.
Is this the end of the European Union?

The end of the EU, maybe not. The Eurozone was doomed before it began, but it's been unraveling in earnest for just the last couple of years.
Politician who's seen the budget: Hey, no more free candy ok guys?
Voting public: F no you're not taking my free candy! (votes socialist)
Let's not make too much fun though, because we're following the same path.

Duh, if you don't have money you can't keep spending it forever? It may seem like you can, when you can print $5T in three years *coughobamacough* but you know what? Eventually you have to stop spending money. The more people you have depending on the State handouts at that point, the higher likelihood of ugliness right before the handouts stop . . . which is why there is rioting in Greece just before they go back to the Drachma and a deep depression.
