I just had the most epic driving moment last night.

Taking the back roads home last night around 2:30AM, not a single car on the road. HUGE lightning storm, but no rain. Listening to Avenged Sevenfold's "I Won't See You Tonight" with the subs and speakers blaring, lightning hitting in the fields close by, thunder roaring over the sound of the music.

It made a typically boring ride home something very awesome.

One time I waxed my car and then drove through a forrest. Looking at my hood was like looking at a screensaver.

One time me and busy_squirrel hopped in my Accent to check out a twisty road and ended up crossing a mountain pass and sleeping in a Wal-Mart parking lot. Then we went through another mountain pass where we were the 4th vehicle through in the last week because it was considered snowed over for the winter. Everyone else going through was in a huge 4x4 truck. They were all looking at us like we were insane.

-rally driving in the country on my eibach pro-kit. there was a bump right on the crest. one side of the tiburon went up and my friend flew up and turned pale.

-ninja surfing on top of a Subaru at 4am.

-tree drifting in between trees in a grassy field downhill with 5 people in the car.

-doughnuts for the first time ever in the dropped Mustang 5.0L.

Driving around downtown one evening, with the windows down, in my 1971 bmw 2002 (custom license plate: FST POKE). At a stoplight, pretty girl pulls up next to me and shouts across windows, "What's a fist poke?" Proceeded to pull over and demonstrate. cool.gif
