What in your honest opinion will be cause of the end of civilization? Everyone jokes about a zombie apocalypse but in reality what do you think will be the real cause?

• Massive world war (nukes, chemical, etc)?
  
• Civil war within our own country (civilians versus government/military)
  
• Virus outbreak?
  
• Aliens?
  
• Another ice age?
  
• Meteor strike?
  

All of those things above are very much possible situations. Well, maybe not aliens but the rest could easily happen at any time in the near future. Zombies...not so much.

I'm still banking on a zombie apocalypse.. I feel it really could happen with the right strand of virus.. Granted, it might not be the Hollywood version of zombies. lol.

 

Worldwide class war... I haven't seen Elysium, but I'm guessing that. Eventually, the "have's" will be a ridiculously small percentage of the population and everyone else will be tired of fighting over scraps.

 

 

I feel it will be a fizzle rather than a bang.

 

Pandemic is probably the most likely. I would put global calamity in second place, such as a meteor impact or other widespread natural disaster.
