Just curious....does anyone have stats on these, i.e. HP, torque, 0 to 60, 1/4 mile times??

I've always wondered about these since I got my Hyundai.

QUOTE
The only thing not so good that this car has is that it sometimes takes two or three attempts while it starts because I moved the gas gauge to make a little more gas go into the engine. Apparently, when I tried to put it back to what it was before I didn't do it 100% right, and still sometimes too much gas goes into the engine and I haven't been able to put it back to normal. Aside from that, it throws some smoke through the exhaust when its cold or very humid outside.
lol lol lol hahaha

The red one isn't a turbo, but it looks in very nice shape.

eek!

Hey guys!, the Series 2 Scoupe Turbo (`93/95) truly is a great car & is very susceptible to tuning as it came with only 7 psi. of boost & no intercooler!.
The ONLY chip Superchips do for a Hyundai is dedicated to this model....it doubles the boost & alters the fuelling/timing curves to match.
The Alpha engine in this model has 7.5:1 compression pistons with under-crown oil-jet cooling & the Garrett T15 ball-bearing sealed-for-life turbocharger was designed for it.(The e-bay car has already done 140,000 miles on the original).
The stock induction & exhaust were very restrictive & respond fantastically to improvement!.
My (un-chipped) example, see pics., is putting out about 165 bhp. & will beat any standard 2-litre Tib..I know of at least one more highly modified U.K. car with a hybrid turbo & chip running 225 bhp., & you`ve all heard about the original "La Pulga"!.
Hope this was of interest, cheers,Nick.

Sealed for life means the turbo is not rebuilt when it breaks and should never have to be opened up and fixed for the life of the car.

Mono , any T2 Series turbo will bolt up or any hybrid with the same bolt-pattern......not a problem!.
