Does any one have any programs to rip a DVD and convert it to AVI, or Divx or mpeg4. So i can back them up on my PCs hard drive.

You mean so that when you are in the desert you do not have to worry about scratching your original disks right?

There are alot more out there, this one seems easier to use and get a good end product from.

truthfully I'd look up a good program, i used to use several but once i got broadband and a couple good sources it's easier to just download them. quicker too. try limewire pro
