i think you nailed it too, for them a ricer is any modified non muscle car. they even bash 6 cyl stangs.

some people i know would call that rice just using a foreign car maker's color on a american car and admitting it.

sure most of those cars are ridiculous, but what's more ridiculous is how much gas a V8 consumes. if they like hanging around gas stations all the time, then that's their pick.
