I thought he just lost it, completely, then I went and looked at the picture and saw that the TPS isn't listed in the "COLOUMNONEONEONON" he listed, but the Crank Sensor was, and I was like oh, he's not insane, he just went stupid.

^^ I love you man!

Night shifts for 12 hours 3 days a week followed by 2 8 hour day shifts do that to me sometimes.

But I still think that because they listed the CKP in the engine will not turn over column, Hyundai's definition of "turn over" means to actually attempt to crank. Which is why the CKP is listed under "enging not turning over" and not under "not fully combusting". The CKP won't cause it not to spin. It will cause the problems you're having.

The engine turning over is the engine turning over. Yes, it's ATTEMPTING TO CRANK, at no other time should the engine EVER turn over. When it STARTS, well, we've been there.

I know what you're saying. It's rotating. But hyundai's definition of "starter turns but engine does not turn over" encorperates the engine rotating but not making any attempt of combustion. Ie. Fast spinning. The CKP is listed under "starter turns but engine does not turn over". The CKP will not cause the engine to stop rotating. The CKP would probly break if it somehow got wedged far enough into the engine to stop rotating. The CKP, which provides the signal for the fuel pump is not listed under incomplete combustion because there is NO combustion without the CKP sensor.

They call it turning over and you call it incomplete combustion. They made the car. They can use whatever terminology they like. It's your job to interperate their wording, not delete posts and attempt to make fun of those who have done so in the past. I'm not a certified Hyundai Tech. I'm a medical equipment tech. It's my job to interperate literature from every manufacturer of medical equipment bar a few. I may f*** up the terminology sometimes, but damnit, when it's in black and white, and you have to connet the dots between Point A and Point B, you can't argue it.

YOu are still a moron Adam. Your posts said TPS. You kept saying TPS. I told you it WASN'T THE TPS. The rest of your argument is irrelevant because of this. Your post was deleted because of this. You said the picture said TPS. It does not, and I told you that. End of story.

I also told you that I could care LESS about what their definition was, as I understand the chart. This is why I put in MY words what was going on, and DETAILED WHAT I MEANT BY EACH OF MY COMMENTS, several times. Hyundai doesn't run this site, and Hyundai didn't teach me about cars OR the definitions of car terminology.

I was NOT interested in looking at the CKP yet, as I told you, because I was worried about the Fuel Pump for reasons I stated. After I found out how to test it (Awesome quick DIY coming), I did so, and knocked that out. I DID say I appreciated your help, but since it wasn't the TPS, not to post anymore about it, and you did again.

Not my fault you were mixed up.

Anyways, the problem is fixed, this thread is going well off topic as it was just here to show everyone the funny ass conversation, and now tis closed.
