It kind of makes sense with a 1911 in some situations due to the limited capacity of single stack. If the extra capacity is what you want a 1911 is a poor choice though.

That's not the point. The reasoning is to do things that others say you cannot do without having any basis for saying so. This country has always been about breaking the mold and finding new innovations. This country was also about being free to do whatever you want as long as it didn't harm another individual's rights. This magazine does not harm anyone in its making, therefore should be allowed to exist. Unless YOU are the one acting like the 5yo politician in saying that the "guns kill people".

 

I'm not saying it shouldn't exist on principal. I'm saying it shouldn't exist on a free market basis. Seriously... Why would anyone want this? It's gotta weigh a sh*tton loaded up. It must hurt balance and accuracy. You can't really holster it. If someone gave it to me for free, I might try it out for giggles, but I wouldn't spend any of my own money on it.
