Re: my video *56K warning*

Well, I've pretty much decided to buy a new car come spring. 90% sure. I've got it narrowed down to 3.

The 2005 mustang GT
The 2005 Mitsu Evo MR
The 2005 Subbie WRXSTI

I'm not really keen on the 4 door idea, but I like the extra functionality. The Evo has no cruise control, which I think would end up driving me a little nutty. The Mustang...well, it's a Ford and it's an american product.

I test drove an Evo yesterday...WOOOO WEEEE!.... that car is fun to drive. Nice and tight, sweet power. Not to happy with the feel of the clutch. Interior ergonomics were good...better than the WRX. Havn't test drove a mustang yet.

I guess I don't really want any advice or anything, just blabbering.

You know, I really like the new Stangs' cause they have that retro look...a throw back to the late 60's design that I really like. I've seen a couple in person and they look tough. If I was still single and girl hunting, the Stang is the car to get..you will get laid more often with a Stang, trust me I owned one before!!! Chicks dig stangs. Nowadays, I would go with the Evo, even though it's slower than the STI, I feel it's the best car for the money as it's cheaper than the evo and is a flawless handling car and to me, looks better than the Sti...this is my own personal opinion.

Re: Employment

Evo:
Pro: Best handling, good driving ergo, good trunk/luggage space, good stereo, no sunroof.
Cons: No cruise control, questionable comfort items (cup holders, stereo, etc), premium fuel, warranty support issues, production company issues, parts availability

STI:
Pro: mostpower, fastest (by .1 sec), comfort items good, good trunk/luggage space, no sunroof
Cons: Most expensive, questionable long term reliability, premium fuel, part availability

Mustang:
Pros: cool factor, cheapest cost and cost to own, regular fuel, easy to get parts/service
Cons: long term reliability, V8 insurance cost, questionable interior ergonomics, usefulness of luggage/trunk space

Re: Crooked H meet this weekend? (11/6/05)

umm the GT recommends premium i think...

i would take the sti or the evo cuz in 3 months everyone and there mom will have a mustang

the evo would be easier to work on i think but the looks of the STI rock

STi. can't go wrong w/ it

The blue oval has to do a lot of thinking about how they build cars. Mainly because they build 'em very poorly. I would wait til at least 2006 to buy the new Mustangs, just to wait for the reactions of the buyers and see what type of problems arise from them
