Do You Smoke Cigarettes?
QUOTE
i dont smoke. cant see why people do it, but its your choice not mine.
^^^finally, a sensible post to this topic. Thx ABQelantra.
I smoke, I know it's gross, but,to the people who say "I hate smokers", just remember that we are people too. I blame no one for my smoking habit. I realize it doesn't make much sense to do, but I could really do without reading the same response with slightly different wording over and over and over and........you get the point.
I am NOT looking to fight about this. I am NOT looking for changed views. All I ask is that you show a small amount of courtesy to the "stupid" smokers that are members here.
edit: sorry about the new page thing, and I don't know how to quote right.

Hot girls that smoke are easy. That's just the way it is. They are impressionable, hence the smoking.
I love hot girls that smoke. wink1.gif

I hate the smell. I am so glad they got the no smoking in public places in Fl passed
The smell is the worst part. Especially in the winter months that you obviously don't get. LOL
They passed that law here too, I love going to a bar and not coming home smelling like an ashtray. Only place that smoking is allowed is the Strip Clubs, sucks cause now the g/f can smell two things on me when I get home
Well, all in all, smoking is on it's way out. Smoking was classy back in the day, you were (a) cool, at least when I was younger (B) important, we're talking like 1900's - 1930's. Now with people (especially kids knowing the effects) there will be less and less.
P.S. I am a NON-SMOKER
I have tried it but didn't get addicted to it and I'm really glad. I hate it actually. If I'm in a smoke filled room for a while there's no doubt that I will get sick with bronchitis or something. My father, who was a smoker for 30 years, quit about 10 years ago for my health because I was getting even more sick then him. He hasn't started since and actually hates it. I don't mind people smoking just not around me..it's like I'm allergic to it or something.

Sadly, I smoke. Terrible, terrible habit.
Yes, smoking is a gross habit. I hate walking into a resturant and having people smoke in there while you're trying to eat. By now, it should be common knowledge to everyone that smoking is bad for your health (especially second hand smoke) and to see someone who dosn't care about the health of those around them by smoking in a public place, pissess me off.

Yummy "Black and Gold". Most people have heard of "Black and Mild" but the gold ones are a little more potent.
you mean "gold and mild"? got the plastic tip, made by same people as B.A.M.?
I'll never smoke cigarettes. I watched my father try to quit for over a decade before he died, he started when he was 13 and was just too hooked. It was sad because he knew how harmful they were and tried everything to quit. Some people may be predisposed towards addiction, and I don't want to end up like that. Quit while you still can.
That said, I think the health nazis are worse than smokers in the U.S. It's ridiculous, I have seen morbidly obese people chowing down on fatty, unhealthy foods and drinking coctails tell someone smoking a cig how they are killing themselves. rolleyes.gif If dangerously overweight people have the right to eat foods that are known to cause long term health problems, and drink till the puke, then people should be able to smoke if they damn well please. As long as it doesn't adversely affect the health of other people around them who don't want to be exposed to second hand smoke. If you go into a bar that allows smoking, for instance, you shouldn't complain about the smoke. Go somewhere else.
I won't go off on a tangent aboutthe tobacco lawsuits, but I do wonder what the next target will be.
Oh, and I have maybe one cigar a month. I've had two this year. I have an extensive collection aging in half a dozen humidors though. I try not to smoke anything with less than 2-3 years on it.
