I work for AT&T, the parent company of SBC and Cingular.
If you have seen SBC/ Cingular/ SBC DISH services in your state, I can associate your account to my name.
What does that mean?
First off, they'll HAVE to give you the lowest price on any services (for example, I get you $5 off your Cingular monthly bill and no activation fee. Over 2 years, that's $156. I also can get you DSL for 12.99/mo and you DONT have to sign up online).
Second, because I am a Project Manager, they will treat you like owners of the company whenever you call for any service and not like a regular customer. People I have done this for are v. happy.
Why am I doing this? My team looks to me as an example. If I bring people to the company, I look good to my team. Simple.
If you need TV, phone, cell or DSL, lemme know if I can help you out.

you must be young... my dad has been with SBC for 25 years and doesnt get internet and phone as cheap as customers are these days. AT&T and SBC suck... they treat their older employees like crap... and SBC bought out AT&T... not the other way around...

I feel bad for your Dad. Yes, the former SBC did buy the former AT&T to form the new at&t. The new at&t is the parent company of all it's subsidiaries.
They seem to treat us pretty well over here in Illinois. Whatever I can't get free, I get the lowest prices for myself and anyone I bring to the company.

That's the problem. I can't help existing Cingular customers, UNLESS you are out of your contract.
I can help existing phone, dish and DSL customers and reduce their rates. May not be the lowest possible, but still significant savings.
New customers will save the most.
