I have friends who are soldiers and I know someone who works for a park that's been effected.

 

A co-worker's wife got a few days off work

 

The military got paid. A lot of training got thrown out of the window. If the class was scheduled to start on that Monday they had to cancel travel, etc. Everything from stuff they need to get promoted to resilience training. If it wasn't directly linked to a mobilization it was canned. Time, money, etc out the freaking window.
