Friend of mine moved into an area that has them. Guess you can hear them howling at night near his house too. That sh*t would freak me out.

Yes...although not a ton RIGHT where I live. I've seen a fox from in my driveway though.
Why do coyotes freak you out? I would get concerned about wolves, bears, or cougars, but not coyotes. Stray dogs are a lot more dangerous.

Because cityboi that's why.
The governor shot one with his concealed handgun while out jogging a while back, in one of the biggest cities in Texas.
Just remember: if you are out jogging and a mountain lion starts following you . . . you are acting like food if you keep running away!

Haven't had any dangerous animals here but back in Warsaw I looked a wolf dripping in foam (from rabies) straight in the eyes from 3 feet. It lunged at me. Luckily I have good instinct. I have never ran faster ...well except after seeing a black widow effffff that!!!

We get coyotes right down the street from my moms, there is a creek at the end of the street and they travel through the different neighbor hoods there. You know there back when the neighbor hood dogs start yapping and posters of missing cats are plastered everywhere, Howling is also a good clue.
