Central air is the only way to go! I also happen to be a refrigeration and a/c mechanic. If anyone on this site has problems with their a/c unit, send me a PM and I MIGHT be able to help you out, or at least point you in the right direction.

Separate (central) AC units for the upstairs and the downstairs area. And at least 1 fan (movie room and master have a pair) in every room, even both kitchens.

central. i'm a shift worker so its pretty essential when i need to sleep in the day. its already hard enough sometimes without the heat keeping me up!
