Default do you give your pets housefood?

just opened up a can of tuna for myself, gave my dog like a 3rd of it. we give her food from the table every time we sit down to eat or when we're snacking (sh*t like steak, hamburger, fried peppers, eggs with salami, chicken...those are just some of her favourites). the only time she eats her dogfood is inbetween meals as a snack. she's not overweight either, and she's still energetic pretty much all the time.

do you guys do the same, or are you one of those owners that's very strict about their pets' diet?

I sometimes give the cats fish or chicken, but never while I'm eating. Keeps them from begging at the table.

I didn't think it was healthy to feed you pet all that human food??

Either way, I still give my cat chicken, tuna, steak and shrimp when I'm enjoying it. But just a taste.
