ok, so it has been basically a nice boring, rainy weekend here in the methhead capital of the world. nana.gif I have been working on recovering my seats, working on my A-pillar triple gauge setup like Regit's has in his blue tib, filled my rear pods with expanding foam so dirt won't gather in them and make them weigh 25lbs. a piece like last time, ETC.

after working on all of this I find myself sometimes cruising other vehicle forums looking at all forms of vehicles i am interested in, this one being the Honda Ruckus moped. well, this guy has definitely gone "off the chain" on his Ruck with a 450cc motor swap ,nitrous, and working on a turbo setup for this also. it is far from being done, but the work this guy has put into this is absolutely amazing, worth taking a look at.

totalruckus.com thread about the bike

I own a 2001 kymco cobra with a bunch of mods on it but have been lately thinking about getting ruck. 70cc just isnt enough for me but i think 150cc would get me the powerband i would enjoy plus keep the gas savings.

last year when gas was all damn crazy and whatnot, it was fun to b!tch about having to pay 3 bux to fill up my tank. i would usually do that when i was parked next to someone with a big SUV sucking 150 bux out of their pocket. boy, would they get pissy, lmao.

^^^LoL

i'm suprised that so far he has only changed one thing being the rear end wheel setup, whatever it is called.

if it was me, it would probably be on revision 47 by now, lol.

there is a band of socal ruckus enthusiasts called the SGV boys or close to that. there is about six of them and all there Rucks are just plain sickening.

while my car is in the shop, I plan on doing some upgrading to my cobra. brakes, new air filter, tires, etc. when I was riding it all the time i would literally put 1000 miles on it in a summer. when i bought mine I had my bike built by moped hospital in key west, florida. when they were testing it they called me after a 6 mile run to a nearby island near the main island to tell me that the helmet storage area was large enough to hold a 12 pack of beer w/ice!!! haha.gif

^^^ they are not cheap, even for a 50cc which is the most popular. i plan on buying a 150cc model and the honda dealership in topeka has two of them that havent moved in months. but get a 50cc and the damn things sell than a drunk prom queen's panties.

in the county that i live here in totoland, they dont even make you insure let alone tag the damn things, crazy.
