I posted this in another thread before...

After looking for the parts myself, I know it is a HUGE PITA to find some of the parts needed.

I was able to find the coupler and cap at Home Depot, but even the large Home Depots in Albuquerque didn't have much more than that (they all had the threaded rod).

So, after doing some searching, my local LOWES in Albuquerque had them all, though they were difficult to find. The flat portion, the "Top Plate Connector" was the hardest to find, and they only carry them in the silver/cast color.

Well, others have found the parts online, and I wanted to post the links for you.

And when a fight breaks out they make a nice easily accessible weapon lol.

Not a bad idea for cheaply decorating a patio/backyard though. Will keep this in mind.

And when the zombie's come, you can tear them off the wall and throw them like Molotov Cocktails.

I've got one issue with it right from being perfect.

I have no neck ring on these skyy vodka bottles so they can slip out pretty easily. I torqued the piss out of them with the bottle clamps and plan on making a strap that holds the bottom of the bottle tomorrow.

I couldn't find the actual clamps for the bottles like in the diy but these will work when i get the "L" hangars to hold the bottom of the bottle.

i got all the parts from home depot.

top plate connectors are sioux chief brand. copper clad. part #541-cpk2 $1.05 a piece.

3/8"-16 allthread cut to 5 inches lg. 24" stick cost 2 bux.

the bottle connectors are 3/4" conduit strap hangars. 1" was too big and 3/4" was a bit small but they dont make 7/8".

all the copper pieces are EPC brand which they had tons of.
