Re: just for the hell of it!
im not trying to be an ass here but if you dont know how to install a turbo kit before you attempt it i dont think you should be doing the install yourself. A turbo install isnt something you want to mess up because it will cost you ALOT of time and money

Re: Windshield Question
Alot of people don't know how to change oil til some shows them how. Some one could just do one: Step by step, By the numbers lol.gif (somebody will get that). Hell I didnt know how to wipe my ass til some one showed me, and that was complicated sheet at the time.

Re: 2004 ABQ BBQ - Who's Coming? (ABQ = Albuquerque New Mexi
this is a *wee* bit more complicated than wiping your ass or changing oil. The way for someone to show you is YOU watch THEM. Then next time do it yourself. I didn't dare do my own nitrous install without proper supervision. There is alot more at stake with a turbo kit. Its way more complicated and more things can go wrong. And I do practice what I preach because Im going to go install Tibbychick's kit for her and let her watch and learn and help out. I wouldn't expect anyone to do it perfectly just by looking at a DIY. And anything less than perfect would be very hazardous.

Re: DIY
This has been asked numerous times, and the answer is always "If you need a DIY, you won't be able to do it yourself".
I agree with both sides of this. If you think that you are ready to install a turbo because you installed a CAI yourself and you have a DIY, you are going to screw a lot of things up.
Some people on the other hand, are very mechanically inclined and know a lot about Turbo's they just don't want to overlook something and screw everything up. I beleive there are books out there that would be a great resource.
