FujiFilm s7000 - $400.00.
My Girlfriend bought it for me for christmas of 2003. Huge surprise, i kept telling her how i wanted to get it but didnt have the money. So somehow she got the money and bought it for me.
Anyway, its pretty much the closest you can get to a Digital SLR without really gettin one. I love the camera, very high res., everything can be manually adjusted, and has a hood that can fit many different filters and small lenses. Only bad thing is its size. Its just smaller than a SLR making it hard to take on vacations and other places. Its size does help though in keeping it steady.
Good overall camera
Tanc, how the heck did you get that for $300. I want one, bad.
