Did he really not put his hand over his heart?
Saw this pic this morning. Why didnt someone run up and slap him or tell him to put his hand over his heart? What an idiot!

couldn't say one way or another but-... i do remember reading an article in the newspaper about an incident during the pledge of alligance @ some event where a few people (author of article???) did not stand or place his hand over his/her heart-... a few patrons around them were disgusted by such behavior and made it very clear-... turns out that as part of their quaker religion (which they claimed to be), it somehow conflicts w/ their religion to take an "oath" of any sort.

I was told this was during the national anthem. which does not require the hand over the heart. dont get me wrong. I dont like Obama. You just need to consider the context. the pic is obviously meant to stir up an arguement, yes. But I feel he should have to set a good example.

i never said he was a quaker-... i just passed along a story i read about one not putting their hand over their heart and why they refused to do so.
trust me, i'm not fond of discussing my points or views on politics (or religion) w/ anyone-... with the exception of traffic laws.
