Default Deployment Divorce

So, long story short, my good friends wife is wanting a divorce, while hes currently serving in Iraq... it was all sudden, he just got back off leave a month ago and they were doing perfect, just randomly. Hes not sure how to react to this type of thing and all he has now are negative thoughts... anyone know anyone thats been through something like that? I feel bad for the guy.

man i sorry to hear this, but technically she cant divorce him well on deployment....i saw it in Navy Times that this happened to a guy...

its like you baby mama, cant go to court and try and get more child support while on deployment, cuz the Military member is not able to defend himself

all i can say is i hope everything works out in the manner he wants...and come back home safe

^^Hope that's all right.

I know a few people who have been through similar things in the military. Sucks but it happens all the time.
