Which would be a better buy

i wanna hear your opinion honestly what would you buy
Keep in consideration i currently drive a 2000 accent gsi

Elantra GL. 5 Speed. Pewter {or black}, with Grey interior. Don't buy any other warranty packages, or any extra options... use the extra saved money to upgrade your sound system, and put some funds aside for a nice set of rimmies...

I know this wasn't a choice, but just buy another 00-02 Accent and a beta engine and make that work, if not, stick with the Elantra... do you really like the Ion, I don't know how anyone could?
