'The Dark Knight Rises' new vehicle unveiled
A new vehicle, reminiscent of the Batwing, has been spotted on the set of The Dark Knight Rises. Pulled along by another vehicle, the 'Batwing' chases an armoured truck that is said to contain main villain Bane. Batman himself, Christian Bale, can be seen piloting the vehicle.
The Batwing featured in both the Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher versions of the the Batman franchise.
If the craft is indeed the Batwing, it marks its first appearance in the Christopher Nolan universe.
Meanwhile the wesbite, ICV2, reports that the vehicle was involved in an on-set accident, with the airborne vehicle's wing said to have been ripped completely off.
The accident is the second reported on the Pittsburgh shoot, with a stuntwoman careering into an expensive IMAX camera last week.
Footage of the first look at the new Bat-vehicle can be seen below.
The Dark Knight Rises is due for UK release on July 20, 2012.

It would be cool seeing this thing being towed around a city like that.

Ridiculous movies these days... numb-minding action replaces real acting/actors. Let me get this right, so we go to the movies to see toys being played with? So that would make this franchise is for 10-year-olds and under? /rant

Hahaha it always should be loaded with plenty of t3h b00bies!
The 80's and 90's Batman were the best. Even Batman Animated Series was super cool and mature and full of art, color, and good music where a lot of effort was made. Now it's all black and gray... actors suck like they're running a deadline, and the storyline just sucks.
I think Batman needs to return to its true roots where gangs look like real disgusting crackling slobby greedy sinister gun-slinging mobsters:

Then we have something to discuss!
