Why shouldn't I be able to call you or your views stupid? You can surely call me stupid. I won't be offended.
I fail to see what my role in this website has to do with our views.
What I fail to understand and you have failed to convince me of is why the tax dollars I've contributed should be handed out to you simply because you have a child.

Admins are the people that are suppose to "police" things like that aren't they? I wouldn't call you or your views stupid, even if I disagreed with them. You have every right to your own opinion, just like I have every right to my opinion. I'm just not sure why an adult had to resort to childish name calling.
Think about what would happen to our countries if everyone stopped having children. It's all ready happening to a point. The baby boom is long over. 15 years from now there won't be enough tax dollars to run the country because there won't be enough people working/paying taxes! The government gives families with kids $$$ because having kids helps a country grow. It's called an incentive. Does this money "support" the family. Not by any means, but it does help pay for things like cloths, food, shelter, toys, sports, education etc... things that help these kids grow into productive adults. Adults who will be paying taxes that will pay for services you'll be using when you're 65+ and retired.

so explain to me how me getting a degree and moving up a few tax brackets isn't incentive enough for financial aid? how is it I qualified for grants when I was a dependant of a single mother and now I don't qualify being a dependant of my spouse?
do people who don't have kids not struggle financially?
ps majik you are a stupid soulless ginger

Having kids is great. I just don't think it's fair for the government to give checks to people who have them, regardless of need. This policy is going to give $350 to a couple making $250K a year with a kid and not to a couple making $50K a year with no kids. This should not seem fair to ANY reasonable person.

wow, cobra isnt as much of a communist as first perceived
you get 3 internets
heres a crazy thought, instead of giving the money to families with kids, why not invest it in the future of the kids by putting that money toward education.
