And premium causes the price to tick over to 10.00, the sign explodes, the petrol tanker jackknifes, the indian behind the counter speaks good english, texas votes liberal, dakota votes, and BFM's posts suddenly make sense.

 

Sadly, we live in a world where prices may actually be that much one day.

 

Gas over $10 or over $3 is a function of domestic politics. IF you people would ever join me in electing someone who made it less of a pain in the ass to get a refinery built or expanded, and get out of the way of oil drilling, the price would fall.

 

Yeah, because publicly traded oil companies wouldn't dare keep the extra money, they'd feel so bad about how much money they've been making that they'd lower gas prices out of guilt.
