Supposedly the story behind it all http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/l...901-story.html

The driver bumped one of their bikes and they flipped out. I dont know about you guys but theres a lot of cyclists around here that are a**holes and hog up the roads and think they run things.

I'm fairly certain that riding INTO flowing traffic is illegal as f*ck

For the record, if it were me, those dipshits would be chalk outlines. Once they start swarming the car you (as the driver) are in imminent danger. Put the pedal to the floor and preserve #1.

Here in Nevada, cyclists are required to ride on the street and follow ALL of the same traffic laws as cars. I take the same view here as I take towards protesters blocking the highways... Move, or I'll move you.

This is how you end a conflict with a biker

You know what happens when you get people into groups..... Their IQ's tend to cancel each other out.

That cyclist got way to close to the driver in the first place and exaggerated the incident. And it didn't look like any of them obeyed regular road laws. Even pedestrians have to obey traffic directions and signals. They were all over the place, which is what motorcyclists tend to do in large groups also. This is big no no in my opinion. I cycle all the time with my family in groups more than 6. I always make sure we're single file, and head up the back to make sure of it.

Once they started beating on my car, it would only take one shot to stop the violence. This kind of stuff has gotten way out of hand in the past few years, which is why I now (legally) carry.
