i cant find catback for my 01 tiburon. import shark, ssautochrome, etc. are outta stock. i was thinking of going custom, but no one in my iowa area has a mandrel bender. i could get aluminized piping
but it will only last for around a year here with the winter salt.
what i was thinking was getting a high flow cat, leaving the original stock piping and then getting a magnaflow muffler. will this be ok? will i see a hp gain? also, will the stock piping be ok since no places do stainless mandrel bent?

I went with 2.5" catback exhaust from local muffler shop with magnaflow muffler. I LOVE THE SOUND. youll notice a little power. im not runnin stainless steel either and im not worried bout winter. in a few years, sure but not now. im sure someone can send you SS mandrel bent piping in the mail lol

thats the point of an exhaust--to replace the restrictive piping. so dont leave stock piping on

i think flyryde is comin out with an exhaust soon. check that part of the forum.

I'm closing this. Read the replies to your threads. No one needs a mandrel bender, most shops make exhausts from pre bent pipes.
