This will not be as cool or as intensive as DTN's cross country trip but in about an hour i'm headed from PHX, AZ to Minneapolis, MN. I'm not going to stop and take pictures and kiss babies and do all sorts of meet and greets. Just crashing at a friend's in denver and doing my best to get this crap DONE!

I hate solo road trips, so hard to stay sane and awake. Hopefully I make it,...

That is a far longer solo road trip than I've ever taken.

I would like to take one though. It seems like I never do EXACTLY what I want to do because I'm always taking other people's opinions into consideration. I love road trips with friends and family but it would be fun to do one alone.

 

Good luck, be safe, and make sure you rest sufficiently. Don't want to hear about you going head on with a semi or something like AT05GT did...
