Default crazy idea

I don't know what dark recesses of my mind this came from, but here goes. One day me and a few friends were thinking of the ultimate sleeper. Then it came to me: Geo Metro. But not any metro, because this one would be hella fast.

First, strip the interior and get rid of the "engine" it came with. Then, where the back seats were, drop the engine of you choice (350 crate motor, 13B two rotor, H22, Beta, etc) hooked up to a positraction rear end or a quafie lsd. eek.gif Of course, a turbo or two, a supercharger, NOS, or a combo is always helpful. Of course, a custom suspension and a beefy tranny (however many gears you want) to handle the power. Now you have a mid engine, poss. a daily driver, that can burn most cars out there and never get a second look. Of course, it would have to have limo tint so no one could see what was up. Give into the sickness.

I have seen a Chevette with a 427, and a blower on it.. VERY scary.. I saw him roll it @ Super Chevy show 3 years ago.. Damn thing rolled at about 1000 feet, and he STILL ran a 13.2.. Pretty damn fast...

There is always the monster miata...they stuff a mustang 5.0L into the Miata engine bay.

There is the Ford Shogun. they stuff the Mstang 5.0L into the BACK of the Ford Festiva.

There is the Renault Clio V6, 250 Hp V6 mounted in back....

Lottsa options for sleepers.

Hell, the McIntrye twin Engine Twin Turbo AWD tibby is one hell of a sleeper. No one would suspect that sucker can do 10's from the outside...

You could always try to find FESTIVA SHOGUN some one decided to drop a taurus sho engine into the back of a festiva one day and wahlah one bad ass mid engine sleeper unmodified it ran in the 13's remember that is with a stock sho engine kinda bad ass if you ask me!! You know you could always buy that metro and drop in the engine from a storm gsi that would be a nasty little car!!! Just food for thought!!!!!!!!

How about a sleeper that's still covered by your stock warranty?

Feast your eyes on what this company will do to your Beetle: http://www.hpamotorsport.com/mt1.html
