I leave you people alone for a week and you turn this is into a shitstorm?
Jebus f*cking christ. Just because something is or isn't "legal" does not constitute the safety of the action. No excuses. I have seen people get into fist fights in a car. There is no law against it, but punching the driver of a moving vehicle in the face is the farthest thing from safe or logical. Especially when you're a passenger in the car. This isn't something to argue. Using a telephone in a car is a distraction, so just don't f*cking do it. If you do, don't b*tch about getting into accidents or penalized in the event it breaks a law.
Facts
Deal with them.

Since nobody seems to be mad at me... I think if you get 3 citation for texting while driving, the cop should required to seize your phone... and then search your contacts for one called "mom" and text her that he caught you texting and driving again and he now has your phone.
When driving, you should be doing absolutely f*cking nothing else. Period. Not talking on the phone, not texting, not reading, not shaving or putting on makeup and not f*cking with your kids in the back seat (if they dropped their toy, let them f*cking scream. It's not going to kill them. You hitting the car in front of you might). Oh, and you should be 100% sober, not "just a little buzzed".
