Mine isn't going slow. It's the secondary HDD that went. My internet connection is dragging now, but that's outside of my computer. I'm afraid to d/l something on my primary HDD thinkin it's gonna swipe that one clean.

It just may be the computer itself giving signs of clockin' out for life.

I'll start to backup my pictures and important stuff on CD's

The PC seems to be a bit old..just get a new one wink1.gif

About the viruses i know not too much...i remember i reinstalled Windows XP (service pack 1) and used it without any antivirus for a day (from morring till evening) in the evening there were quite a few viruses...so the best suggestion is to get a Firewall and an Antivirus..im currently using AVG which seems to be good.. no problems so far.. wink1.gif

Yeah...

I'm gonna get another computer. Now it's recognizing the secondary HDD and it's acting fine. I don't trust it anymore, I already backed up all of my necessary files.

Thanks for everyone's help.

It's only a 498mhz Celeron. I don't think it's worth keeping. I'm lookinh for something faster anyway
