I had a bunch of computer parts laying around my house from various sources so I figured I would put them to use and I also decided to build my case out of lego's since my other case was at my girlfriends house.....

My computer with Red Hat loading:

Power Supply and something that resembles a patio for lego people tongue.gif

Wish I could have made it all one color but I don't have that many lego's in my posestion.

Like I said its old parts so it isn't fast. I put my old ECS K7S5A w/ XP 1700+, OLD 4 gig Western Digital Hard Drive, a cd rom from a gateway, video card out of a pentium 133 system, and buttons and power supply out of my old AMDK2 system...

I don't think they will melt. They are a pretty tough plastic.

Looks good though, I like it. If I didn't already have my comp in an almost $400 all aluminum case, I would consider doing it myself.

That was a neat idea. A computer made out of Lego's, who would've thunk it?

I would worry about how hot that thing is probably getting. Cool looking though.

Yes it does work. I was also worried about it getting too hot as well so the entire thing isn't completely enclosed by lego's. Around the back by the power supply it is basically open for air and if need be i will put some small fans I have laying around.

The thing with the computer in the old nintendo is pretty awsome. Not sure where I read this article, and I can't seem to find it online but some guy took all the componets out of a old NES and made it into a handheld machine. He cut a few pieces here and there but it looked pretty sweet
