Okay, I don't know what the hell is going on, but none of my XP screensavers will start on their own anymore. I've checked the settings, previewed them, and it works, but they won't go on on their own.
Anyone got a solution? Know what I should look at?
Maybe you can suggest a good low pc intense screensaver that'll lock my PC when it engages?

Hmm, I DID just upgrade to a Wireless Keyboard/Mouse.
The drivers are the newest. What should I check or do?

You could uninstall the wireless stuff and see if your savers work or do a system restore to a point before you started having issues. That may pin-point the new hardware. If it's the hardware try searching the knowledge database for similar issues.
Wireless?? What're you surfing porn from the bathroom now?

dude!
Check your batteries/charge on your mouse and keyboard.
You might be getting a screwy signal because of low/bad charge. Not sure if the kind you have uses batteries or a charge station, but check that too. If that is the problem, it's most likely in your mouse.
ALSO! Similar to what kb5133 said, but instead, before you mess with drivers, unplug your wireless mouse/keyboard and plug in a wired set. Wait 2 minutes and see if your screensaver comes on. Then you'll know if that's the problem or not for sure.

Uninstall everything and start again. If that dosn't work then it's a hardware problem.
If it's logitech, return it, keep the keyboard or whatever... just stick the mouse in the box. My bro used to work at logitech. When they RMA stuff, they open the box to make sure it's a logitech product (ie has logitch on the unit) then they enter the RMA number in the computer. You could RMA a mouse for a $600 speaker system. You just have to go through tech support first. Sounds to me like a hardware problem though

just temporarily swap back to your old stuff just to see what happens so you don't spend a ton of time searching.
most likely it's the keyboard and mouse. I really like logitech stuff but I did have a problem with one where if you put the laptop to sleep the laptop sound wouldn't work.

It's a Microsoft keyboard/mouse combo, the "Wireless 5000" combo.
I'll trys wapping them out, but I don't want to go back to that wired crap. If it IS that, what can I do to fix it?
