Remmeber, i told you about my computer problem? It's the damn Trojan virus from rdtiburon.com... You need some boot disk or something to get rid of it.

or, Do a scan disk.

whats the bsod #?

usually 0x0something

have a copy of norton or any antivirus? you can boot with it and do a scan of the harddrive if you think that's the problem. Also a repair install of xp does wonders, and remember repair install, not a new install.

Supercow's idea is good, this should get you back to the desktop. After that if you don't already have the proper programs to monitor viruses, malware or a decent firewall, try this link.

http://www.download.com/

It has free to try versions(you can use em temporarily to search for problems) or some of them are free programs from up and coming companies. The only drawback would be some may have hidden advertising within them but choose programs that users like (more stars the better). Avast and Zone Alarm are two good companies to combat various problems. I use some of these progs in conjunction with Computer Assosiates Internet Security Suite, which I like because its effective and cheaper then Norton or McAffee.
