Yeah, Riddick was cool. However the iRobot movie is in no way a matrix rip off. The matrix was a completly dillusional outlook on robots taking over. However if it was to ever really happen it would occur more alone the way that it is described in iRobot. Just IMO.

come on. Vin Diesel? can you say "type-cast"?? He plays the SAME CHARACTER in every movie. He has no real talent. I wonder if he's realized that he's had 1 character in 4 movies.
reminds me of Stalone, really....

I was told that the action scenes went too fast for you to be able to see what all was happening, and several people I know weren't too thrilled with it. They said it was a mediocre movie

Keep in mind that I Robot is based on a novel that was written long before The Matrix was written.
Anyhow, I just saw Chronicles and I must say it was a good movie. It wasn't AMAZING but it was definatly worth the price of the matine. However, did it remind anyone of the Roman Empire era? To me, it seemed like a cross between Warhammer 40K (the guns reminded me of 'Bolters', and c'mon.. Necromongers? Just like the Necron in Warhammer!) and Gladiator.
Either way, good movie.
