The UPS used to leave packages at my apartment door without a signature, they would just live them at the door, but at some point one got stolen and from then on I have to sign for every package..

Maybe he just dosn't like you?

My UPS guy gives me a call on my cell phone about 5 minutes before he gets here and says "sup dude? Is it a good time?". Then I either say ya sure thing, or wait until I'm at work. He will come to my desk at work and drop it off there.

I don't see how UPS can drop a package at your door.. They require a signature for all of their pacakges. Maybe there's a different rule where you're from? You talking about USPS?

Forget about DHL or FEDEX. They both suck. They won't deliver to me, I have to pick up from them.

He doesn't know me, of course, I also don't suck his dick.

LOL

Your UPS guy sounds gay.

UPS and USPS AND FEDEX won't get a signature unless you require it anymore, or unless you live in what they consider a "warzone" where items get stolen. So, if you have to sign for every package from those companies, you live in the ghetto.

Time to move up.

LOL

I can go get the standards for deilvery from their site, if you want. I happen to have some good friends that are high up in UPS here, and I still won't use them at all. Too expensive, WAY too slow. USPS Priority Mail or FEDEX Ground, that's it. At least if it's small and goes USPS, I get it in a lock box.

BTW, next time I send my 360 in for repair, it's getting "lost" when it returns.

UPS sucks if you live in Canada. You have to pay for shipping to the seller, then you have to pay UPS for customs, and then you have to pay UPS for bringing it to you from customs to your house. I hate them.

Canada Post is great but they don't offer tracking of mailed items (I don't think any postal services offer that). I'm quite sure the number you were given is a 'delivery confirmation' number. It will show when it is accepted into the system and then when it is delivered. It's purpose is not for the recipient to see where their package is, it is so the sender has proof that it was delivered.

UPS does suck! I've never had a problem receiving a package but they rip you off big time with their handling fees for items crossing the border.

My UPS guy gets a bonus for delivering to a location which is not the actual mailing address. My mailing address is a PO box. He's happy about my packages.

I guess I can see what you're talking about by it being a warzone.. There's alot of people all in a small area here. You can trust soldiers in general, but that leaves too much room for error.

Psshht... ghetto... Fort Jackson is not a ghetto.... Now, judging by the type of people, cars and places I saw in ABQ (your neighborhood exempt, it's really nice.), I'd say you live closer to the ghetto then I do.

... actually I take that back.. What I saw in ABQ was the kind of stuff you see in all large cities. I live 5 miles from the ghetto 02.gif
