THis is what burlintontib did for me. And pretty close to what I was thinking about.

The W needs some work, and this is a rough sketch anyways. I'm thinking I want a circle in it too, either in the center or just out of the center but before the minor points.

Long, more like a compass I'd say, but I couldn't find many examples of something close to what I was looking for, hence why most of these are "Suns".



Well, it's about direction. Being a surveyor for so long, I'm kinda good with compasses, maps, and direction in general. It also is sortof about finding direction in my life and family. That no matter what direction I may go, my family (Z), will always be behind me.

Anyway, unrelated, I sketched this tonight at the coffee house. I kinda forgot about the tribal thing... and just made a nifty 8 point compass. I thought it would nifty to make the "arms" of the compass glass/crystal with the Letter of the direction within. Didn't finish... but if you wanted tribal... guess I don't need to!

 

I dunno man, that looks pretty bad ass! Maybe I'll have that done on my hood. LOL
