Wonder if it was terrorism.
BOSTON —Two explosions have been reported near the Boston Marathon finish line on Boylston Street as thousands of people gathered for the race, and there are reports of injuries.
The blasts happened at about 2:50 p.m. near the intersection of Boylston and Exeter streets. Store fronts have been blown out, and there have been reports of dozens of injuries.
Witnesses said several victims lost limbs, and the area was being evacuated.
The first explosion happened across from the Lenox Hotel and the second blast was about 15 seconds later, witnesses said.
Many of the injured appeared to be spectators who gathered for the 117th running of the race.
NewsCenter 5's Sean Kelly said the impact of the explosions could be felt blocks away.
The victims were being taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

NY post is reporting 2 deaths with many other serious injuries so far
I can't stand the cowards who do this sh*t, it makes me so f*cking angry. I know it hasn't been confirmed a terrorist attack but you know it is. I hope they find and shoot the motherf*ckers responsible on the spot.

They're saying in the press conference that there was another "incident" about a half hour ago. Not sure if that was a detonated bomb or what, but yeah. This is terrorism, though probably domestic.
I haven't heard anything about unexploded devices found.
They did say several "parcels" were left at the scene but no other devices were found in them.

hence the quotations.... And it's a clear case of domestic terrorism, just not sure what the motive could have been.
Setting 3 bombs in 2 different locations is a far cry from simple murder. Hours after the first 2 a 3rd exploded at the JFK Library. Its pretty quick for a copycat, odds are good that it was a full on attack on the city.
